I am a regular author in N.D. Gray’s minithology collections! These are short collections written by multiple authors of varying experience levels. We all work together to bring these stories to life and share them with the world! I am so excited to be part of this excellent community.
This series from 2022 follows the seasons. In each of the stories I wrote a story about a pair of characters set in my Boston Blight universe. The two are a couple, though the stories aren’t romance stories specifically. Ash is a dryad who lives and works in Boston, MA in the Harvard arboretum. There she meets Paul, an autistic pixie whose special interest is plants. The two hit it off and face various challenges together.
A dryad waking…
a fairy learning to sing…
a brother and sister spinning in the never-ending dance of seasons.
Each story in this collection weaves a tale of overcoming. Overcoming winter. Overcoming ancient traditions which trap us. Even overcoming the chokehold of death.
Only after embracing their powers and stepping into the unknown do the daughters of spring realize the true purpose of their lives.
WITHOUT SPRING THERE WOULD BE NO HARVEST.
Experience the power of spring in these five fantasy short stories by M. L. Akin, N. D. Gray, Elizabeth Knollston, E. Prybylski, and Mathu Wistfur.
WHAT SACRIFICE MUST BE MADE BY A SCION OF SUMMER?
A sister’s life…
A prince’s love…
A dryad’s family…
A Gardener’s future…
Set in the season of summer, when the sun warms the land and the fireflies twinkle through the twilight, the stories in this anthology are about bargains made and magic spun. Worlds saved and hearts won.
But every bargain has a price, and every bargainer pays a cost.
SUMMER FIELDS WATERED BY TEARS GROW THE SWEETEST FLOWERS
M. L. Akin, N. D. Gray, Elizabeth Knollston, and E. Prybylski bring you four short stories about love and sacrifice in summer.
The flowers wither and fade away. The leaves change from green to crimson, russet, and gold. The wind turns chill, the taste of winter upon it. And the Heir of Autumn does not flinch.
An elf hunted through the fog.
A dryad fighting injustice.
A fairy betraying all she knows for what must be.
With worlds at stake and lives on the line, the Heirs of Autumn…
LAUGH IN THE FACE OF DANGER
M. L. Akin, N. D. Gray, Elizabeth Knollston, E. Prybylski, and Juliet Ruiz bring you five short fantasy stories about bravery in autumn.
To protect one’s self…
To save a friend…
To rescue loved ones…
To chart an unexpected path through life…
Student, mage, or witch, the characters in these stories all use ink in their magic, and they all have the same goal in mind: to draw a tomorrow that is better than today.

WHAT IF DEATH HAD A SOFTER SIDE?
Death in love.
Death in sorrow.
Death at war.
These five tales weave stories of Sister Death. Though each tapestry is unique, we are touched by the life she tries to live… tries to preserve… tries to protect.
As the veil draws across your eyes, trust Sister Death.
